PurpleZen Yoga offers yoga for everybody and every ‘body’ – one of the great myths of yoga is that you have to have a flexible body to do yoga when in fact it is the mind that needs to be flexible in order to enable the body to create the shapes, the asanas, the postures, and no two ‘bodies’ are the same, so we will all look different in our practice as we are all so uniquely different in life!
The practice of yoga is exactly that – ‘a practice’, so the perfect pose is how it feels for you not how it looks to others, and this changes each time you turn up to your mat. Taking the time to be with yourself and accept yourself without judgment or comparison and allowing yourself to move into stillness is the magic that yoga can bring.
All classes with PurpleZen Yoga are small and friendly, accessible for complete beginners onwards so no previous experience is needed. Verbal adjustments and adaptations are given throughout each class. Spaces are limited so booking is essential to reserve your space.
